    Cathy from ON Asked

Is there a building at POR riverside that would allow my teenagers quick access to pools and arcades. We are driving from Ontario, will parking be free for us at parks or should i budget in parking fees if we dont use WDW transportation.

    Hi Cathy,

One of the many benefits you will receive by staying in a WDW Resort will be complimentary parking at all of the Theme Parks.  All you need to do is "flash" your "Key to the World" card to the parking booth attendant when entering the Parks and "voila" you are quickly given the green light to go (without paying a dime)....neat eh?.

The Port Orleans Riverside Resort was many years ago known as "Dixie Landing" and unfortunately, I have not stayed in this WDW Resort under it's new name (only when it was called Dixie Landing).  I wouldn't feel right just researching this for you (which would be easy for me to do) in order to give you an answer, I do feel however that you deserve an answer by someone who has "been there and done that" recently and fellow Moms Panelist Kim does a really good job explaining her experience there and the closeness of certain buildings to the amenities, pools, food court and the main resort building area in one of her answers to another guest asking a similar question.  If you follow this link, you will see what I mean and I am sure you will find all the information you are looking for.  I hope you have a magical stay!

    Best wishes,
