Are buggy boards allowed in the parks? I have 3 kids (7, 4, 2); plan on taking a double stroller, but even the oldest gets worn out after walking trillions of miles in the August heat. I have an attachment that would allow her to catch a ride - is it ok?

Yes. Yes. Yes. We used a buggy board for several years at WDW. It was the perfect solution for keeping our older daughter happy when we were pushing our twins in strollers. I can't tell you how many other guests told us that they wished they had one for their older (but not yet big) children. My hubby used to say that Disney could make a fortune selling Mickey-logoed buggy boards in the parks. They would sell like hotcakes.

In addition to saving our daughter's legs, there was an unanticipated side benefit of keeping her safe. The parks are crowded when the fireworks end; people are everywhere. When our daughter was on the buggy board she was well contained next to us, so there was no way to get separated from her.

For those of you not in the know, a buggy board is a bit like a skateboard with clips that secure it to a standard stroller. While separate wheeled vehicles (wagons, rollerbags, even heelies) are not allowed in the parks, since the buggy board is really just part of a stroller, it is fine. I just did a little Amazon search of the term "buggy board" and found several models. The one we had was the KiddyBoard brand, but many of the others looked fine too.
