Hi my brother is thinking of joining us at disney he is of the impression since he has a prosthetic leg he can't ride most rides. I can't find anything on the subject, so I am asking you. What rides can he ride or not ride? Thank you again

Hi, Jessica!  Tell that brother of yours to stop thinking about it and get going to Disney World!

My dad was a double amputee, and we traveled with him to Walt Disney World after his first leg amputation with one prosthetic leg, then again when he got his second.  There isn't anything I can think of that your brother wouldn't be able to ride with his prosthesis.

The rides most people with prosthetic legs are concerned with are the ones where your legs would dangle.  The only thing you may want to mention to your brother is Soarin', where your legs do dangle, but the attraction itself has very little movement, so he should be fine there, as long as his leg is secure.

Now, that is not to say you won't want to be careful getting on and off some of the attractions.  I also encourage you to go to Guest Services to obtain a Guest Assistance Card.  Especially if he'll be wearing long pants, and his disability is not visibly obvious, having the Guest Assistance Card can help cast members to do what they can to make it easier for your brother to get on and off attractions, or offer him a place to sit while waiting for an attraction.

Tell him to go, have fun, and enjoy the rides!  Walt Disney World really does a phenomenal job at considering people of all shapes, sizes, and abilities.  I hope you all have an absolutely magical time!
