    Erica from TN Asked

My brother (who is under 18) will be coming to spend the summer with me in Orlando. Am I able to purchase an Annual Pass for him at the Florida Resident price?

Hi, Erica! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by to see us with your question. Let's help you plan some summer fun with your brother at the Walt Disney World Resort!

Erica, as long as you have proof of Florida residency, you can absolutely buy your brother a Florida Resident Annual Pass since he is under the age of 18. You'll just need to be present and show your proof of residency at the ticket window outside the Theme Parks or at Guest Relations before your brother's pass can be activated and used. If it's more convenient for you, you can stop by the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs and activate the Annual Pass there before heading to the Parks.

Have you seen some of the amazing offers Disney has for us Passholders this summer? There are new discounts on dining and merchandise, special Resort hotel rates, and even the chance to buy a reduced-price ticket so you can take a friend to the Parks! Now more than ever, it's definitely a great time to be an Annual Passholder!

I hope this helps you and your brother have a blast this summer, Erica. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
