Broke both feet and will be in one walking boot ,DR says 2, want to try it without a wheelchair, should I still ask for a guest asst, pass. Will I be prevented from riding anything due to wearing the boots? Also is the Pirate makeover fun for adults? THKS

Robin I am so sorry about your disability of two broken feet!  I would seriously like to recommend that you DO consider renting a wheel chair during your days in the parks.  They cover many miles and you will find that you will wear out quickly and possibly then not able to see and experience all that you hoped you could.  The wheel chairs are there for rent just for this purpose and it will make your life happier and easier during your visit!

You will find most attractions easy to experience with a walking boot(s) but it will be up to you if you will be comfortable in the loading and unloading of some of the ride vehicles.  I suggest you stop at Guest Services when you enter a park and explain your needs and get the disability guide that will help explain all of the attractions.  You can ask the cast members if they feel a Guest Assistance Pass is appropriate for you and your needs.

I have not had the privilege yet to having the Pirate make-over but have heard some wonderful reviews that it is not only fun but that they do an excellent job!  My grandson will be doing it in December and I may just have to join him!
