We are brining our 3 year old and 2 year old grandsons mid December 2014. They want to see Cars, Toy Story, Wreck It Ralph and Teenage Mutant Nija Turtles - what suggestions do you make on where we should start and what we should purchase in advance.

    Hi Angie ~

There is nothing like seeing the wonder of Disney through the eyes of your Grandchildren.

If you have not already done so, create a My Disney Experience account. I would recommend that you make your Disney Resort hotel reservations now in order to get the resort you want.

I would also purchase your Disney theme park tickets (children ages 2 and under are admitted free). You should go ahead and link your Disney Resort hotel reservations and theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience account. You will receive an email and notification in your My Disney Experience Account letting you know when you are eligible to customize your MagicBands for your trip.

You are now well within your 180 day window to make any Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs). Do it now as dining reservations fill up fast mid-to-late December.

About 60 days from the first day of your trip, you will be able to make your Disney FastPass+ service selections. Do that as soon as you are eligible.

For the characters that your Grandsons want to meet, I would recommend that you plan to spend a day at Disney's Hollywood Studios (DHS) and the Magic Kingdom (MK). Plan for 2 days at MK. At DHS, they can meet characters from Cars, Toy Story, and Wreck-It Ralph. At MK they can meet characters from Toy Story.

I would also recommend Disney Junior - Live on Stage and Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show at DHS and Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party at MK.

I am limited in space but please feel free to visit us again.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
