bringing a 1yr old.any advice, can we bring his bottles in resort, i dont want to make him cranky which will make us cranky any good advice for keeping him happy please help im scared hahaha

    Hi Rebecca,

Don't be scared - we're here to help! You're welcome to bring your son's bottles into the parks. However, Guests are not permitted to bring glass containers into the parks with the exception of perfume bottles or baby food jars. There are Baby Care Centers located in each park where you'll be able to heat up bottles or food. They provide great places to get your baby out of the crowds for a little while. Keep in mind that neither table service nor counter service dining locations are able to heat up any outside food that is brought into the restaurants so be sure you keep that in mind when planning meals.

Give him breaks from his stroller. Even if he isn't walking yet, he'll need to get out & move around. You may want to go back to your resort for a nap & come back to the park when he's refreshed. If he has some favorite toys, bring them. Don't forget sunscreen. Be sure to bring some snacks for him to munch on. If he's an early riser, then get up & get going to the parks early when he's fresh, happy & at his best.  Most of all, when you see that he's had enough for the day, pack it up & head out. Pushing him past his limits will make you all miserable.

If this is your first time in a hotel with him, try to stick to his nighttime routine as much as possible. If you plan on him sleeping in a Pac N Play, get him used to it before you travel. If you are traveling during the hotter months, buy a clip on stroller fan (& bring extra batteries) to help keep him cool. A white towel over the canopy will help reflect some of the sun's rays. Also bring a rain cover for his stroller - this also protects against wind especially in the cooler months.

Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
