Bringing our 4 yr old daughter in July. Can't decide where to stay. Wish list...a place where she can play a bit on a playground or in a pool when we take a break from the parks, but where it would be a little on the quiet side at night.

    Hi Jennifer,

I think I have the perfect place for you!  When our son was five-years-old we took him on his first Walt Disney World vacation.  We chose Disney's Wilderness Lodge as our home resort and it turned out to be an excellent choice for us.  They have a playground down near Bay Lake and two pools.  Hidden Springs Pool is the quieter of the two.  It's perfect for low key afternoons. This resort is only four minutes by complimentary Disney bus or a lovely fifteen minute boat ride to the Magic Kingdom.  If you stay at this resort, you can be back to your room for naptime in a snap!

If you want a nice quiet room, ask for a woods view or a view of the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  The resort is simply gorgeous and it has a very relaxing feel throughout.  It also happens to be the most reasonably priced deluxe resort in the Magic Kingdom area of Walt Disney World.  I promise that this resort would be a great choice for your young family.

Have fun next July!  Thanks for posting your question to the Moms Panel.
