Bringing our 3.5 year old and 18 month old girls. We are there for a week in Oct and we're staying at Yacht & Beach. Need help planning itineraries so that the kids have the most fun possible, but am overwhelmed by the options. Help! Thank you!

    Hi Anty!

You sure have a wonderful vacation ahead! My family adores staying at Disney's Yacht Club Resort. The location can't be beat, especially for families with strollers because there is so much to do within walking distance. And the main pool, Stormalong Bay, is a vacation in itself!

Planning a visit to Walt Disney World with young children can definitely be overwhelming, but rest assured that while it's impossible to see everything in one visit, you are going to have a blast!

I recommend sticking to a mostly regular schedule for your little ones to avoid unneeded stress. If you are typically early risers, plan to get up and go first thing in the morning. But if you tend to sleep in, that's ok too. Plan what works for your family.

If you have any specific Character Experiences or Attractions you know you want to enjoy, plan those first and then fill in around them with additional activities. And remember, nothing is set in stone. You may make changes to your FastPass+ selections right from the My Disney Experience mobile app at any time.

Finally, I want to recommend the Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones page. It's a great resource for advice, sample itineraries and planning tips. I also want to draw your attention to the video about Baby Care Centers on this page. They are a lifesaver for parents!

Wishing you a wonderful family vacation, Anty. Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
