I am bringing my 9 year old grandson to Orlando and Disney World. I want to know if there are any workshops, activities or supervised things he could do so I can have a break and rest?

    Hi Howard,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so happy to help you plan your trip with your grandson. A brand new experience just opened this past week that may be perfect to give your grandson an awesome Pixar experience while giving you an evening to take a break and rest! Pixar Play Zone is a brand new opportunity for kids to play and party for the evening while adults can enjoy an evening on their own. Your grandson will be able to enjoy games and Character Experiences, as well as dinner and dessert, during this awesome evening activity while you can enjoy a evening on your own. I know my boys will love this new offering during our next vacation and they will be so excited to play with their favorite Pixar characters!

Other childcare services at Walt Disney World Resort that you can also take advantage of during your trip are In-Room Babysitting and Children's Activity Centers. Keep in mind that the Children's Activity Centers will only be available before August 1, 2018. So if you are traveling before then, they are a great option for a fun evening for your grandson. My boys love going to spend the evening playing and enjoying activities at Lilo's Playhouse at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.

Keep in mind that space is limited for Children's Activity Centers and Pixar Play Zone, so I recommend you make your grandson's reservation as early as possible to guarantee his space! Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue planning your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
