We are bringing our 11 year old grandson to Disneyworld for his first visit from Feb 25th to Mar 8th and we have booked our fast passes for 7 of those days. How do we get put on standby for the Avatar ride since it is all booked up? Or can we do this?

    Hello Pamela!

It sounds like your grandson is one lucky guy.  Sharing memories with him at Walt Disney World will be truly unforgettable.  I hope you have an amazing trip.

I assume you are talking about Avatar Flight of Passage.  Flying on the back of a mountain banshee is something I bet every 11 year little boy (and girl) would love to do.   For this reason it has become a VERY popular attraction and Disney FastPass+ selections for this ride are hard to come by.   Unfortunately Disney doesn't offer standby for a FastPass+.   If you have your heart set on riding I encourage you to keep checking the My Disney Experience app or web page daily to see if any FastPass+ times open up.  I am traveling next week and found one just the other day for this same ride.   If for some reason you do not find a Disney FastPass+ you can always wait in the standby line once you arrive at the park.   I have found that if you arrive early when the park first opens the lines are shorter.

I hope this has helped, Pamela.   Enjoy exploring Walt Disney World and visit us again if we can answer any other questions you may have.
