Bringing my 6 year old grand daughter to Disney She has one glass eye, could lose other eye with any bump.wants to see disney while she can. especially the Magic Kingdom and the Princess Castle. No bumpy rides. suggesstions for rides, getting up front?etc

    Hi Margaret,

I'm sorry to hear about your granddaughter's troubles.  I'd be happy to help you with your question.    The first thing I can tell you is that Disney is excellent at helping their Guests with disabilities.  Please look at the link that I've attached for more detailed information on available assistance for making your granddaughter's trip much easier.

The attractions at Magic Kingdom which are jarring are: Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, and Mad Tea Party.  I don't know how sensitive she is to the bumps, so please ask a Castmember at each ride to check for any drops/bumps it may have.

You can ask for a Guest Assistance Card at City Hall in Magic Kingdom.  These cards correspond to  an individual's needs.  It can also help with waiting times for Guests with disabilities.  While you're there, please ask for a Guest with Disabilities Guide.  Very helpful while you're at the park.   You can get this guide at each park you visit at Guest Services.

I hope you and your little princess have a magical time at Walt Disney World.  If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to come back and ask.  We're all happy to help at the Moms Panel.

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
