I am bringing my 3 year old daughter for her 1st visit to WDW. However, I can't decide whether to come July 4th weekend or Labor Day weekend. Also, I saw good reviews for Pop Century or would CBR be better for us traveling alone.

    Hi Christina!

Historically speaking, it will be much more crowded over the July 4th weekend than over Labor Day weekend.  July 4th is actually one of the busiest days of the year for Walt Disney World.  Also, it can potentially be much hotter over the July 4th weekend though that's obviously not a given!  Based on the expectation for much lower crowds and the possibility of cooler weather, I highly recommend going over Labor Day!

My favorite Disney Value Resort is Pop Century.  It has a great food court and I like the fact that there is only one bus stop at Pop Century.  Also, Pop Century doesn't share a bus with any other resort.

The Caribbean Beach Resort is huge and has several bus stops.  I think the theming and the rooms are a little nicer at this resort than at Pop Century.  The pool here is also amazing and a lot of fun.  However, I prefer staying at Pop Century because I think the Caribbean Beach Resort is too large.

If you want to move up to the Disney Moderate Resort category, I suggest looking at Port Orleans French Quarter.  It's a beautiful resort and not too large.  The pool there is nicer than the one at Pop Century and includes a small water slide.  You can also take a boat from the resort to Downtown Disney which is relaxing and a lot of fun, especially in the evening!

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
