We are bringing our 6 and 7 year old boys to WDW next month. Should we bring a single stroller or do you think they will be okay? We will be at the parks for about 10 - 12 hours straight most days. Love this forum! Thanks!

Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation, Melissa!  As a mom of four children which includes a set of seven year old twin boys, I have traveled to Walt Disney World many, many times using single and double strollers. Although I was very nervous about traveling without a stroller, I actually stopped bringing it last December when the twins were six years old. To be honest, the stroller seemed to be more of a hinderance than assistance when the boys reached five and six years old. I found they were wanting to walk more and ride less. It was very convenient to be able to hop on the Disney buses without needing to collapse strollers and navigate more easily through crowded areas in the park. I also hated giving up the storage basket underneath, but we have found that we're able to pack all of our necessities in a backpack that my husband usually carries. With that being said, you know your boys better than I do and if you think they will be giving out easily then you may want to consider bringing a single stroller. You may also decide to travel without the stroller and rent one at the theme park if the walking presents a problem during your vacation. When planning our vacations, I almost always schedule a table-service meal in the middle of the day to take a break from park touring and rest up for a bit. When the children were younger, we enjoyed going back to our Disney Resort for a much needed midday break or nap. I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to write me back with any additional questions. Best wishes for a Magical Trip, Melissa!
    Happy Planning,
