We are bringing two children a 2 year old and a 4 year old to Walt Disney World and need to know what toddler sized carriers are allowed inside attractions.

    Hi Patricia!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your littles are at the perfect ages to enjoy the characters, the magic and all of the fun of Walt Disney World Resort. I just got back from my own Disney vacation with my almost 3-year-old and we're ready to go back. Oh, your family is going to have so much fun!

You're more than welcome to babywear all over Walt Disney World Resort. While there technically isn't a restriction on the size or type of carrier allowed in Disney's theme parks, I would highly recommend bringing something like a Tula or Ergo that is more cloth that can be easily folded or is not bulky when removed. There are many attractions where the ride vehicles load and unload at a slow and steady pace and do not stop, so you'll have to make quick transitions of taking the babes in and out. Larger backpack-chair-metal frame carriers are absolutely wonderful for larger children, however they are often bulky and will take up a lot of your personal space in the ride vehicles, and some just wouldn't fit if worn in some vehicles. While you're allowed to wear children in their carriers while experiencing attractions, this is most common with front-wearing children. You can back wear your kids when walking between attractions or while standing in a queue, but you'll definitely want to let the kids sit in your lap or have their own seat so they too can take in all the sights of It's a Small World, Peter Pan's Flight, Journey Into Imagination With Figment, Muppet*Vision 3D, Na'vi River Journey and so many more.

Bonus Tips: Check out this perfect planning guide for preschoolers and small children and utilize the Baby Care Centers.

We'll See You Real Soon, Patricia!
