I am bringing my 3 month old into the park in a couple weeks. We are bringing our front baby carrier and we’re wondering what rides we will be able to bring the baby onto? Obviously, nothing with a height requirement, but can we use the carrier on the rest

    Hi, Vanessa!

I’m so glad to hear you plan to bring your baby carrier to the Disneyland Resort! I’ve walked countless miles in the theme parks with my son and daughter in carriers ever since they were young infants.

Over the years, I've kept my babies in hip and front carriers on most attractions that are safe for Guests of any height. On attractions with lap bar-style restraints (like Peter Pan’s Flight, Haunted Mansion, and The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure) Cast Members will ensure that your baby fits under the bar safely, and I have sometimes been asked to change my baby to a forward-facing seated position if there is a lap bar. During times like this, I sit in the ride vehicle, unbuckle and lower the carrier straps, and forward-face my child on my lap while keeping the carrier’s waist strap buckled. This makes it quick and easy to get my little one back up into the carrier after exiting the attraction. I've never been asked to remove my child from a carrier or switch them to forward-facing on attractions without bar restraints or those that have bench-style seating. Some examples of  attractions with this type of seating include Storybook Land Canal Boats, Pirates of the Caribbean, “it's a small world,” Jungle Cruise, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant.

I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how many attractions are baby-friendly, but for those that are not suitable for your little one, take advantage of  Rider Switch, which will allow you to take turns experiencing attractions. One adult can ride while the other adult waits with the baby. You then swap so the second adult can enjoy the attraction without waiting in line all over again. I hope this helps, Vanessa.
