We will be bringing a 6 month old that will need out of the stroller to move around occasionally. Are there grassy places in the parks that we can let him down to play? If so, where are they located?

Hi, Kellie! When my youngest son was 6 months old, we sought out places for him to crawl around. We also brought a thin blanket that we could lay on harder surfaces for him.

One huge benefit of having a crawling baby in the parks is that the ground is so pristine and clean. There are many places that have smooth surfaces as the regular thoroughfare. Just make sure you let him explore out of the main path. The exit areas at many attractions also have clean, carpeted surfaces as well.

Here were my youngest son's favorite crawling places at each park:
    - Epcot: grassy areas outside of Test Track
    - Magic Kingdom: Donald's Boat area in Toontown (gummy, soft surface)
    - Hollywood Studios: Tower of Terror exit area
    - Animal Kingdom: Boneyard (gummy, soft surface)
