I am bringing my grandchildren this April for the 1st time to Dysney World park and resort. Besides the military discounts for our brave soldiers, are there any discounts for nurses? I only saw 2 hotels that offered such discounts. Thank you.

    Hi Wendy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to be taking your grandchildren on their very first Walt Disney World vacation in April! Your trip will be here before you know it.

As a Registered Nurse myself, the only discount I've discovered is a room discount at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel and the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel.  I just called Disney Guest Services to verify my information for you, and the friendly Cast Member I spoke with was not aware of any other specific discounts for nurses either.  I have previously taken advantage of the special offer available to nurses at both the Dolphin and Swan and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at each.  To be on the safe side, I did bring my hospital identification badge to verify my profession. Although these two hotels are located on property in the Epcot Resort Area, they are not owned by Disney.

Although I have always appreciated the discount available to the nursing profession, I would also suggest you check out the official page featuring the current special offers at the Walt Disney World Resort.  Over the last few years, I often find one of the special room or package offers to be a better value for my family of six.

Be sure to pick up your grandchildren a complimentary "1st Visit"  button at your Disney Resort hotel or at Guest Relations located inside any theme park. Your grandchildren will love the attention they receive as first-time Guests.

I'm so sorry if this was not the news you were hoping to hEAR. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to stop by again.  We would love to assist you in planning a magical trip!
