I am bringing my Godson to Disney. If he has gotten a DAS in the past, will he need to bring the old one to get a new one?

    Hi Joanna ~

You are an awesome Godmother to plan ahead for your Godson. It is not a requirement but if he has gotten a Disability Access Service Card (DAS) on a prior trip, it will speed up the process if he brings his DAS from his previous trip.

When you arrive at the first theme park of your trip, make Guest Relations your first stop. You can give the Cast Member the DAS from his last trip. Your Godson's information will be in their system so they will only need to ask you how long you will be at the Walt Disney World Resort and the number of Guests in his party. If the photo on the DAS is recent enough, they won't even take a new photo of your Godson. Keep in mind that your Godson will need to be with you when you go to Guest Relations to obtain a new DAS.

There have been times that we have had my son's DAS in hand as we were approaching Guest Relations. Cast Members spotted us and came right over to assist us. We were in and out in no time.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We will be hEAR for you up until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
