Hello! I am bringing my daughter to WDW in December for her 5th birthday. I am having trouble deciding which parks to visit and which days. It's just the two of us, and I want this to be the best experience possible for her. HELP!!

    Hi Beth,

What a wonderful way to celebrate a 5th birthday! My eldest daughter was there on her 5th birthday and it was a great way to end our vacation!

You do not say which days you will be in the park or for how long so I will give you some guidelines my family follows.

We stick to our normal schedule of getting up early and do not stay in the park until it closes. This helps keeps us well rested so we can enjoy the park and not be cranky. We also do not visit the a park that has Extra Magic Hours especially Disney's Hollywood Studios as this park has limited attractions open and everyone is crowded into these areas.

I would spend two days in Magic Kingdom, two days in Epcot, a day in Disney's Hollywood Studios and a day at Animal KIngdom. However, tailor it to your vacation's length. You can save money and not purchase the Park Hopper option so you can spend time in each park without having to feel rushed going to another park.

I would also plan some dinners including some at the neighboring resorts. The resorts will be beautifully decorated for the holidays so it is a great place to feel the holiday magic.

Feel free to ask more specific questions so we can make your vacation super magical!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
    Beth
