I will be bringing my daughter to Disney for he first time. I myself have been several times but not since the magic bands were introduced. I revently purchased one,but I am not staying at the resort. I was wondering can I still link my credit card?

    Hello, Ashley!

You must be getting so excited about sharing the magic of a Walt Disney World vacation with your daughter for the first time! MagicBands can do a number of things to streamline your Disney theme park experience. You mentioned that you are planning to stay off-site, but you will still be able to use the MagicBand that you have purchased to:
    • Connect PhotoPass photos to your Disney account
    • Enter theme parks and water parks (with valid admission linked to your account)
    • Check in at FastPass+ attraction entrances
At this time, only Guests of the participating Disney Resort hotels are able to make charges to MagicBands. To make the most of your MagicBand experience, make sure to link it to your My Disney Experience account as soon as you are able. I hope that you and your daughter make many magical memories together, Ashley! If you have any other questions about MagicBands before your trip, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel. Happy planning!
