    Nicole from ME Asked

We are bringing my daughter to disney in February can her grandparents that are Florida residents buy her tickets for her without going to the parks with us?

    Hi there, Nicole!

In order to purchase Florida Resident discount tickets to Walt Disney World, your parents have to show proof of Florida residency. Anyone over the age of 18 could be asked to show that proof of residency when they use the tickets at the theme park.

As long as your daughter is under the age of 18, your parents could certainly gift her a theme park ticket to use during your visit, even if they are not there to accompany her. There is no obligation for a child to show proof of ID or residency, and her grandparents do not need to be with her at the park for her to use the ticket.

I hope you all have a magical visit to Walt Disney World, Nicole!
