We will bring our 8 months old daughter to WDW in Jan, 2016. We want to involve our daughter with this wonderful place. Does anyone have any suggestions that what facilities I can ride with her, or any show is suitable for her?

    Hello, Mei-Tzu!

The Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect vacation destination for kids of all ages! There are many experiences that your eight-month-old can enjoy from shows to character interactions to even riding attractions! Our little Mousketeer enjoyed shows such as Beauty and The Beauty-Live on Stage andThe Festival of Lion King. The movement and song always kept his attention.

You will find that many attractions at Walt Disney World were designed with the whole family in mind. Therefore, many attractions do not have a height restriction. Take a look at this Disney Parks Blog post that lists attraction height requirements for each theme park. To make sure that Mom and Dad enjoy some thrill rides take advantage of Rider Switch, a program that allows Guests to take turns waiting with Mousketeers too small to ride certain attractions.

Besides shows and attractions, consider booking a character dining experience. These experiences offer a delicious meal where the characters come to you. My little guy was starstruck during his first meal at Chef Mickey's and cried when Mickey Mouse came to our table. It is one of my favorite vacation memories!

Finally, no first visit is complete without the first pair of Mickey ears and a picture in front of Cinderella Castle. I highly recommend Memory Maker, so you are sure to capture many magical memories of your Mouseketeer's first visit!

I hope this helps give you a few ideas for your visit. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance!
