    Destini from SC Asked

Can you bring the mickey balloons attached to your stroller at Animal Kingdom, I know AK is a "No Straw" park, but I can't remember last time I went if I saw any there, it helps so much finding ours in a sea of strollers. Thanks!!!

    Hi Destini ~

I am so excited to hear that you are heading to Disney's Animal Kingdom! There are so many amazing new things there including Pandora - The World of Avatar and Rivers of Light. Be sure to make a FastPass+ for Avatar Flight of Passage as soon as your window to book your Disney FastPass+ selections opens. This attraction is unbelievable and FastPass+ go quickly.

I have been taking my boys to the Walt Disney World Resort since they were born and I am very familiar with the sea of strollers in the stroller parking area. For the safety of the animals, balloons and straws are not permitted in Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park. Instead of a balloon, you could tie a bright colored ribbon on the handle of the stroller. I always made a homemade sign the size of a sheet of paper with our name on it to put on the back of the stroller. I laminated it so that it held up in the rain. You could also buy some of the fancy patterned duct tape and put it on the handle to help you spot it.

I would also suggest bringing a stroller fan, extra batteries for it, and a rain cover. Don't leave open food in your stroller - squirrels and birds are very bold when searching for food.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
