    Daniela from NY Asked

Can I bring food to the park? (Sandwich, juice, cookies)

Hi Daniela and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I see that your visit is just a few short weeks away! I’m so excited for you and your family!

I have good news! You are absolutely allowed to bring in your own edible items. Things like bottled water, canned sodas, juice boxes and snacks like fruit and crackers are always in my backpack before I make my way to any of the theme parks with my family. I have also seen many families eating homemade sandwiches at lunch time at the parks. Please keep in mind, meals that need to be warmed up, are not allowed.

There are just a few exceptions, so you may want to check the Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules just to be sure.

It’s always a good idea to let the security Cast Member know that you have food items in your bag during your security check at the theme park entrance. It makes the process a lot quicker.

Daniela, you’re in for an Incredible Summer vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort! I hope you and your family have a magical visit!
