Can we bring back packs into the parks? I would normally have a wide range of things in my purse, but would like to bring a backpack with me to Disney World.

Yes, you can bring backpacks into the parks -- and just about every other kind of bag as well. Over the years I've carried backpacks, purses, camera bags, diaper bags, and fanny packs into the parks. These have been stocked with everything from diapers and snacks to video cameras and iPods. One caveat as your deciding what sort of bag to bring, there are some restrictions on the size of bags you can bring into the parks.

The exact page of the WDW website that discusses backpacks can be found HERE, near the bottom of the page.

    The website states that:

Suitcases, coolers or backpacks with or without wheels larger than 24" (61 cm) long x 15" (38 cm) wide x 18" (46 cm) high are not permitted in the parks.

So, as long as your bag is smaller than 24" X 15" X 18", you'll be fine bringing it with you.
