Hello.. i will bring my baby next month to Disney land park.. can she sleep in a babycenter for 30-45 minutes.. she need a break.. because she is only 11 months

    Hi, Khadeeja!

I’m glad you’re planning a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth with your little one. I’m a big fan of introducing kids to the magic of Disney early on, and you’ll cherish the memories you make with her!

The Baby Care Centers in the theme parks are a great resource for parents of infants. You’ll find full-size changing tables, private nursing chairs, high chairs for feeding and baby food prepping areas. However, there are not spaces for babies or toddlers to lay down and nap.

Instead, I have a few favorite locations to relax and get a break from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks. At Disneyland Park, a nice, long ride on the Disneyland Railroad has been known to lull my kids to sleep. You’re generally free to ride as long as you like while the train makes 20-minute loops around the park, as long as it’s not close to the end of operating hours or during the fireworks show. The Disneyland Story presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln is a dark attraction on Main Street, U.S.A. with soft theater-style chairs and air conditioning if your little Mouseketeer needs a break from the outdoors.

At Disney California Adventure Park, the back of the gazebo under the Silly Symphony Swings is a shady place off the beaten path to sit on a bench and enjoy a serene view of the water. The benches aren’t near the main walkway to attractions or food, so they are often unoccupied. If you’re in search of an indoor spot, head over to the Animation Academy. The main lobby features mesmerizing images, video clips and music from favorite Disney films in a darkened setting.

I hope these ideas are helpful, Khadeeja. Please write back with any other Disneyland Resort questions you have!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
