Bright suns- Super excited to come check out Batuu! How much are the personality chips and carrying bags for the droids built at the Depot? Thanks!

Bright Suns to you, Tara. You’re less than a month away from your visit to Batuu! My family and I have had the chance to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ newest land, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, twice now, and I’m super excited that we’ll be back again in November.

I took a little while to shop around on my own a few weeks ago and took some photos of all of the amazing options available at the Droid Depot, and in consulting those I see that the Droid Backpack was $49.99 and the Astromech Personality Chips were $12.99 each. Please keep in mind that prices and availability are always subject to change without notice, but as of the beginning of September, these items were available at these prices (but limited to one  per person). There are also signs throughout the Droid Depot alerting Guests that customized merchandise you build may not be returned or exchanged.

For the Personality Chips, you’ll also find a display case featuring each of the available Chips with a preview of each one (and a graphic indicating the Droid’s allegiance). While one of the most awesome benefits of building your own Droid is choosing its personality, please be aware that using a remote-control device to operate a Droid while in the Theme Parks is prohibited, although you may carry your Droid around Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to allow it to interact with elements in the land.

Enjoy your visit to Batuu and Walt Disney World Resort, Tara! Please let us know if there are any other questions we can answer for you.
