We have breakfast reservations at Be Our Guest @ 8:50 am. We are staying @ Beach Club . Can you offer some tips for planning our arrival to MK that morning so we can be there for rope drop? Will we have time before 8:50 to use a fast pass?

Hi, Gary! Thank you so much for stopping by with your question. Park opening, otherwise known as Rope Drop, is especially wonderful at Magic Kingdom Park as Mickey and the gang put on a fabulous Welcome Show for all Guests waiting to enter. Whether a Guest is aiming to be at Rope Drop to enjoy the Welcome Show or to get a jump on the crowds heading into the park, it is certainly a practically perfect time of day to be at the most magical place on Earth!

Magic Kingdom Park usually opens at 9:00 a.m., but will occasionally open at 8:00 a.m. during busy periods and for Extra Magic Hours. I am going to assume that your breakfast is planned for a morning when that park hosts Extra Magic Hours. If so, then you will want to head to the bus stop at Disney's Beach Club Resort around 7:00 a.m. This will give you plenty of time to travel to the park via Disney bus transportation, complete bag check procedures, and scan your MagicBand to enter the courtyard area to await Rope Drop. You will be able to ride several of your favorite attractions before your breakfast. I highly recommend you head to Fantasyland and experience Seven Dwarfs Mine Train if you have not scheduled a FastPass+ selection for later. FastPass+ selections are not available during Extra Magic Hours, so you will want to schedule your first one for a time after you plan to conclude your breakfast.

Gary, if you are planning to visit on a day in which Magic Kingdom Park is not hosting Extra Magic Hours and opens at 9:00 a.m., then you will want to head to the bus stop a little before 8:00 a.m. Since the park will not be open yet at the time of your Advance Dining Reservation, then you will not be able to experience any attractions until after your meal concludes. I hope this information helps you plan your morning. If you have any further questions, please stop by again! We would love to help you plan your FastPass+ choices.
