Hi! We have 8:20am breakfast reservations at "Be Our Guest" in Jan 2019. As I believe MK opens @ 9am, what time will we be able to get in to the park that morning & will city hall be open to get the kids "My First Trip" pins?

Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Molli! Your Magic Kingdom morning plans sound so wonderful; I know you’re ready to wake up with Main Street, U.S.A.!

You’re right! If Magic Kingdom opens at 9am, the touchpoints and Main Street, U.S.A. will open around 8am for guests to pass through security and explore the front of the Park. With an 8am arrival, you’ll be able to enter, smell the glorious popcorn (you've got to get a refillable bucket, which you can refill at the carts for a fraction of the price all vacation long!) as you pass into the Park, and snag a coveted First Visit Pin from either a Cast Member along the walkways, or in the City Hall building on the left hand side as you walk in. If you’re celebrating a special occasion, you can also grab an “I’m Celebrating” button! This pit stop to grab a complimentary pin will be fairly quick, and you’ll be able to move forward to your dining reservation. Simply ask a Cast Member which way you’ll find the dining reservations check-in person; it’s often one Cast Member with an electronic device that will scan your MagicBand and guide you along the way to your restaurant. Be sure to try the gray stuff! I hear it’s delicious.

If I can help you with your FastPass+ reservations or give you tips on Rider Switch Service, please let me know. Those are my family’s keys to fast fun all day long. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
