We have breakfast reservations at Chef Mickeys at 8:25am. Is there a shuttle bus available that early from All Star Movies so we can make our reservation? Approximately, how much time should we give ourselves?

    Hi Lindsay,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope this response gets to you in time!

How exciting that you have a breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey's. Chef Mickey's is one of our favorite restaurants. The character interactions are so much fun. There may be Bus Service available but it depends on what time the parks open the day of your reservation. Bus service typically begins 45 minutes prior to park opening. Check the park hours for the day of your reservation.

To get to Chef Mickey's from Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, I suggest you take the bus to Magic Kingdom then walk or take the resort monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort. I would allot at least an hour and fifteen minutes to get to your dining reservation just to be safe. The walk from Magic Kingdom to Disney's Contemporary Resort takes about 10 minutes. If the bus service is not yet operating, take a taxi.

On our last visit, we had to take a taxi for an early morning breakfast reservation. The taxi cost us about $15 from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to Epcot. There were a few taxis waiting at the front of our resort hotel. I suggest you call the front desk about 20 minutes before you need to leave to see if there are taxis available at that time or to request one.

In the future, you may also be able to take advantage of Disney's new Minnie Van Service.  Although the schedule is subject to change, with this service guests can arrange transportation from 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Lindsay, I trust you bring back many happy photos of your Disney adventures!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
