    Kimberly from CA Asked

is there a break out of how much a snack and counter service credit is worth.

Hello Kimberly and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I will bet that your home is a flurry of excitement since your trip is just days away! First, let me say, I think you will be delighted that you have added a Disney Dining Plan to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  It takes some of the budgeting and planning stress away as your food purchases are prepaid.

Since there are thousands of possible choices when it comes to snacks and Quick-Service meals that could be selected with the Disney Dining Plan, it is difficult to assign a single value to the credits. I will give you a couple examples. If you head to Epcot to grab a bite at La Cantina de San Angel at the Mexico Pavilion, you could select the Tacos de Barbacoa and pair it with a Blood Orange Margarita for a meal value of nearly $29.00.  On the other hand, you might choose the Chicken Breast Nuggets & Fries with a beer at the Electric Umbrella for just under $18.00. That is an $11.00 difference in value!  As for snacks, you will find ranges from $2.25 up to about $6.00.  As you can see, the value of the credit is entirely dependent on the choices made.  Please note that these prices are subject to change.

Since the Disney Dining Plan is prepaid, we find it the easiest to just go with your heart's desire at the moment. You will undoubtedly find that you are satisfied with the many options available.  I hope this helps with your planning. If you have more questions, come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We love to help!
