Hi Brandy! My family and I are fellow South Carolinians. We will be staying at Pop Century 11/15/15 thru 11/21/15 with 5 day MYW w/PH. Wondering what you think would be our best itinerary. Would like to attend MVMCP and have some resort time. Thank you!

Hey, Andrea! It is so great to see South Carolinians around here! You have picked a great week to visit Walt Disney World Resort. The following week sees a big change in crowds for Thanksgiving week, but your week is usually a good bit calmer. Even when the crowd level are lower, I still like to make a solid itinerary, picking what I think will be the least crowded parks each day. How does this sound to you?

Sunday: You did not mention when you will be arriving, so I am just going to say Downtown Disney for this day, with some Resort time added in so you can get comfy in your home for the week.
Monday: Epcot is always a great park on Monday. Have a Soarin' good morning before testing out the fast cars at Test Track.
Tuesday: Time to head to Magic Kingdom! When your FastPass+ window opens 60 days before your check-in date, be sure to grab ones for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train if you have not had a chance to ride it yet, and try for a seat towards the back of the train. It is so much fun! Since you have Park Hopper, hop on over to Disney's Hollywood Studios this evening and enjoy Fantasmic! since Magic Kingdom will be closing early this evening for the party.
Wednesday: You probably stayed out late last night, so maybe do a late arrival at Epcot today, enjoying a nice dinner in the World Showcase.
Thursday: Today is a safari-rific day for Disney's Animal Kingdom. This park does usually close a little earlier in the late fall, so it would be a good night to hang around your Resort and maybe watch the movie being shown out the Hippy Dippy Pool.
Friday: Disney's Hollywood Studios is on stage today. Later this evening, you could end your vacation in a holly jolly way with Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This would be just the way to get everyone ready for the holiday season.
Saturday: Time to head back home and make plans for your next trip!

I hope this plan works for you, Andrea. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Meet the Panelist: Brandy, South Carolina

Hi, I'm Brandy, a speech pathologist and busy driver of daughters to marching band and dance events. My Annual Pass is used often to check out new Disney must-dos and resort changes. I enjoy giving advice about itinerary and FastPass+ planning, Epcot's fantastic festivals, Memory Maker, and transportation at the Resort. The time I spend at Walt Disney World Resort is distinctive because it is the one place I can forget other responsibilities and focus on having the time of my life with my family!
