Hi Brandy! We're considering a trip to WDW for Memorial Day...but I'm concerned we're too late for restaurant and fast pass reservations for the best attractions. Any thoughts?

Hey, JD! Thanks so much for bringing this great planning question to me! I always tell my friends that, when it comes to planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, there's no such thing as planning too early or too late. Of course, planning early is the best option and you are starting at a great time. You have over four months to make the magic happen - you can do it!

Advance Dining Reservations opened the end of November for Memorial Day weekend, but do not let that deter you from going ahead with this trip. I just looked and there are SO MANY great dining location choices available. Keep an eye on the dining page for any that are not currently available, as you never know when they may! Guests change their plans often, particularly in the final weeks before their trip, so you never know when you may get to snag a seat for your favorite meal.

The great news about FastPass+ selections is that you are not late at all for making them! These open 60 days in advance for guests staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, a HUGE benefit if you want to experience some popular attractions. If you are staying off property, then you will make FastPass+ selections 30 days in advance of each day you plan to visit one of the theme parks. Memorial Day weekend can be quite popular with families that finish the school year early, so my advice to you is to really consider making a Resort hotel reservation and taking advantage of that 60 day FastPass+ benefit!

Thanks again for stopping by and please come back anytime you need some help making your magical adventure happen!
