Did your boys enjoy the CRT, Akershus, Park Fare, dinners when they were young? I have DS 8,5,2 and booked ADRs for those plus CP, TH, Boma, Teppen Edo, Hoop de Doo, Chef Mickey's. Is this enough variety to "endure" the princesses for mom? TY

When my sons were little (pre-k), they were excited about all the characters, and we certainly did all of character meals that you listed.  However, I would think that 8 and 5 year old boys may be more anti-princess.
We do still eat at Cinderella's Royal Table, but we opt for dinner.  I still get my castle experience and they do enjoy dining there as well as long as there are no princesses.  They are fine with the Fairy Godmother who is the only character there in the evening.    Akershus is mighty thick with princesses, so I know my sons would be grumpy if I took them there.  While 1900 Park Fare does have Cinderella, there is Prince Charming as well as the antics of Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella, which are fun to watch.
The other restaurants you have listed are all favorites of ours, especially Boma.  Crystal Palace has Pooh and friends, but my guys will always hold a special place in their heart for him, so they like saying hello (even my 15 year old!).  I think they also think Hoop de Doo Revue is a hoot and will leave with big smiles on their faces.
Just thinking of all those yummy restaurants has me hungry!
