Have 2 boys w/ autism & adhd, was hoping to get DAS. Are we able to get each boy a DAS or are we only allowed 1? I only ask because 1 boy may want to ride 1 ride while the other wants to ride another, so we may split up, not ideal but it happens!

    Hi Lisa,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing another great question to us!

The disability access service has been a lifesaver for my family. You will be happy to know that this service is assigned per guest. When you arrive at a theme park, simply stop by guest relations when you enter and speak with a cast member. She or he will assign the disability access service. Just be aware that a cast member in guest relations will discuss the disability access service as just one of many services that might be appropriate for your boys.

To use it, you will need to find a cast member at the entrance to an attraction, explain that you have disability access service and request a return time for the ride. The guest with the disability access service assigned to him must return to check-in for the attraction. Other family members cannot use the disability access service without boarding the ride with the person to whom it was assigned unless they have a separate Fast Pass+ selection for the attraction or just plan to do the stand-by line. The additional happy news is that you can use the Disability Access Service in addition to your regular Fast Pass+ selections.

The last time we visited, my husband was able to enjoy all of the rides with us because he had the disability access service. Our girls were ecstatic and he was so pleased. He simply would not have been able to tolerate the long lines.

Lisa, I hope you are able to make use of the Disability Access Service. It is one of the many ways the Walt Disney World Resort provides phenomenal experiences for all guests.

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
