    Melissa from CA Asked

My boyfriend and I just moved from Texas, I have gotten my California ID but he hasn’t. Is it possible for both of us to get our Disney passes by using just my ID and my bank information ?

    Hi there, Melissa!

I’m so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this question about Disneyland Resort Annual Passports. I’m a longtime Passholder myself who enjoys several visits to the Happiest Place on Earth per year thanks to my pass!

Your boyfriend only needs a government-issued ID (such as a driver’s license) with a California address if he plans to purchase an Annual Passport for Southern California residents or if he wishes to purchase a Passport using a monthly payment plan, which is an option only available to Californians. You can purchase his pass using your ID and credit card if you wish, but only if you’re not planning to buy him a pass priced for Southern California residents. Southern California passes can only be activated and used by Guests with a valid form of identification from the state of California.

I hope this answers your question, Melissa. Please don’t hesitate to visit us again if there’s any other Disneyland Resort information you need as your pixie-dusted planning continues!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
