Moms, My boyfriend and I will be in Disney for New Years Eve and cannot figure out where we should spend midnight. We are 21 and 22, but still kids at heart so we are torn between the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT's more adult atmosphere. Any advice would help!

Markie, both parks will be exciting with their own version of a New Year's Eve party.  The Magic Kingdom will indeed be full of families and lots of children.  Some of them will be tired children too!  EPCOT is indeed more for those that want to toast in the New Year with a glass of bubbly. Some of them might toast many times that night!

Both parks will have great fireworks displays added to their normal production.  Both parks will most likely reach capacity early and not allow more guests to enter so be sure you make your decision before that day. The Magic Kingdom is often the first park to close on these special holidays as its capacity is less then other parks.

I personally would make my decision based on which park is closest to my resort. Once the celebration stops I know I want to get back and head to bed and not have to deal with hours of transportation issues on these busy nights.  When we stay at the Yacht or Beach Club resorts we always pick EPCOT due to location.  If you are staying at any of the monorail resorts I would choose the Magic Kingdom.

    Happy New Year early!
