Me and my boyfriend will be at Disney from April 1rst to the 7th for my 30th bday. We're staying in a Disney resort and I was wondering is this a really busy week to go? Thanks in advance! :)

Hi, Tamara!  Starting right around now, things tend to get busy down at Walt Disney World.  Many colleges start their spring breaks this time of year, and as we get closer to Easter, there are more high schools and elementary schools going on spring break.  You will likely encounter some lines and some waiting, but there are ways to minimize your waits.

When possible, use the fast pass system to help bypass regular stand-by lines by allowing you to come back during a specific time frame and use the fast pass lines.  You can also skip the parade and hit some of the rides during the time when a good number of the other guests are waiting for the parade to finish.  Eat at off peak times, and you may find that lines are a little shorter during normal dining hours - like noon for lunch and five or so for dinner.

My family likes to do the early morning extra magic hours.  The parks that have the morning extra magic hours tend to get busier during the day, but we can pack quite a bit in by arriving for that extra hour in the morning.

Have a very happy birthday, Tamara!
