We bought a two-day one park per day pass online. We will go to California Adventure the first day and Disneyland the second day. Do we have to exchange the pass for different paper tickets each day? Can we get them the night before we go to avoid lines?

Hi, Rebecca! I'm so excited that you will be visiting both parks at the Disneyland Resort soon!

If you selected the eTicket option when you purchased your tickets, you will have received ticket vouchers by email. You can either print those vouchers and bring them along, or bring them up on your mobile device when you arrive at the parks. When you are ready to visit Disney California Adventure Park on your first day, head directly to the gates. This is where you will redeem your ticket vouchers for traditional paper tickets. You do not need to visit a ticket booth separately and exchanging your vouchers takes mere moments at the gate. The paper ticket issued on the first day will be the same ticket that you will use to visit Disneyland Park the second day. If you want to leave and re-enter the same park on either day, make sure to get your hands stamped as you exit.

You will also use the paper tickets to obtain FASTPASS tickets once you are in the parks. Simply visit a FASTPASS distribution kiosk near a particular attraction, insert your park ticket, and a FASTPASS for that attraction will be distributed. Use the Disneyland app to look up attraction wait times and FASTPASS return times and this will help you make efficient use of your time at the parks.
