Bought ticket to WDW online for Canadian customers. It says we have to present our passport prior to first use. Does that mean we have to bring our passports to the park with us? Is there another way to do prove we r Canadian? I already purchased tickets

Hi Corinne, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am always so pleased to answer questions from fellow Canadians, and especially from fellow Atlantic Canadians.

I am happy to hear you were able to take advantage of the amazing deal currently being offered for Canadian residents. If you purchased your ticket online, it should already be linked to your My Disney Experience account. Alternatively, if you purchased by phone, you can link your ticket to your My Disney Experience account using your Will Call Confirmation Number or Ticket ID. Once this is done, you will be all set to start making your all-important FastPass+ selections starting 60 days in advance of your date of check-in if staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, or otherwise 30 days in advance.

Corinne, as part of the terms of the special Canadian resident ticket offer, Disney does require proof of Canadian residency (typically in the form of a passport) prior to activating your tickets. You only have to bring your passport with you on one occasion in order to activate your ticket. Alternatively, your other option would be to attend at Guest Relations at one of the four Theme Parks the day before your intended first use (if that is possible) simply to activate your tickets so that you do not have to carry your passports with you for a day of park touring. If that isn't possible, there are lockers available at all four Theme Parks where you could safely store your passports for the day.

Should you have any other questions, please let us know. We are hEAR to help! Wishing you a wonderful upcoming Disney vacation at the place where The Magic is Endless!
