If I bought my Disney tickets through another online site (Not Disney), can they still be linked to my app and bracelets? Also, will I have a problem getting fast passes?

Hi Allison! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm a military wife and we buy our Walt Disney World Resort tickets through a special office on base and then link them ourselves. It doesn't matter if your tickets are paper passes or sent to you electronically, as long as your tickets each have a 12 or 16-digit individual ID code, you'll be able to link your tickets the same way I link mine.

In your My Disney Experience account, select "Reservations and Tickets" under the 'Plan and Manage' section. If you already have dining reservations or another trip planned, or once you're finished planing this upcoming vacation, all of your plans will show up here. This is also where you'll link any new tickets. Under the second section titled 'Tickets and Passes', you'll see a blue button that says 'Link Tickets'. Click that, and once on the new page you'll be allowed to enter up to 10 new tickets at once. Once you've completed this process your tickets will show up automatically in your app and My Disney Experience account, and you'll be able to make FastPass+ reservations as soon as your window opens.

Any older MagicBands that you may have should already be connected to your account, and will automatically connect to your new tickets. You can stop by a Guest Services desk at any resort hotel or at Disney Springs, or as you enter the theme parks to double check that everything is good to go. Do bring your tickets with you just in case, or take a picture of each tickets front and back with your phone should you need to reference their ID numbers. Also please note that the battery life of a MagicBand is an average of two years, so depending on where they were stored the magic inside the bands may still be active or it may have just run out.

If you experience any problems at all, please don't hesitate to call (407) 939-5277. We'll see you real soon, Allison!
