Bought discount Cdn Resident tickets- do we need to exchange them at ticket window at Disneyland? Or if they are etickets on mobile phone can we exchange them at turnstiles with our cdn passports? Thanks

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Vanessa!

I am delighted that you were able to take advantage of the special ticket offer for Canadian residents that was offered earlier this year. I'm even more excited that it sounds like your trip is coming up very soon! With and most eTicket vouchers, you can head straight to the gates at Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park - no need to stop by a ticket booth. (Double check the fine print on your vouchers just to be sure, though.) At the gates, they will check your Canadian residency by either your passport or NEXUS card and then your vouchers will be exchanged for paper tickets. Also, your vouchers can either be printed or on your mobile device. If they are on your phone, just make sure you are able to get cell service or connect to the Disneyland Resort Wi-Fi to access the vouchers.

From that point on, you won't need to prove residency so you can keep your passports in a safe location for the duration of your trip. Also, if your tickets are linked to the Disneyland app, you can use your app to gain entry into the parks instead of using the paper tickets. Further, with tickets linked to the Disneyland app, you will be able to upgrade to Disney MaxPass which enables you to select FASTPASSES quickly and easily on your phone from anywhere in the parks. Disney MaxPass makes touring the parks incredibly efficient so I highly recommend it!

I hope your visit to the Disneyland Resort is full of magic and memories!
