    Kaman from ON Asked

Hi moms, I bought 4 day tickets when there was a Canadian sale. Now doing the planning I realized maybe I should get one more day. Has any one done the upgrade from 4 to 5 days at Will Call when picking up tickets? Do you just pay the difference?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kaman!

Yes, I have updated multi-day admission tickets to the theme parks during my Walt Disney World Resort vacations. When I added a fifth day to a four-day ticket, I was charged the difference between what a four-day and five-day ticket cost at the time. I have found that the Cast Members working at Guest Relations and the ticket windows to be very helpful in this process. They update tickets frequently as Guests' plans change. Just remember that you need to extend your multi-day ticket before you have used the last day of the ticket as it currently exists. Otherwise, you'd be purchasing a completely separate ticket with single day pricing.

Here are some other considerations as you think about extending your four-day admission ticket to the theme parks:
    • If you call the office or person from whom you purchased your current discounted ticket, you may get a better price to upgrade your ticket in advance of your trip.
    • Read the fine print on your current ticket or the receipt accompanying that ticket. Some promotional tickets cannot be extended or upgraded in any way.
    • If you are able to add the fifth day to your ticket in advance, you will be able to make FastPass+ reservations for the fifth day much earlier than if you wait until you are on Walt Disney World Resort property.
    • I find that bringing a copy of my receipt for the original ticket with me makes the process of upgrading a ticket on site even easier than normal.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll be able to modify your ticket as you wish.

Sending best wishes and pixie dust,
    Jill
