I bought an annual pass on phone. Was mailed a plastic card. Do I need to do something special with this and get a “real” pass with a photo or is this my actual pass and I just go right into park scanning my magic band?

Welcome to the Annual Passholder family, Kristy! Do you by chance have a yellow card with an orange circle containing the word "Passholder" and Mickey Mouse's head? If so, then I have a super secret to share with you. That plastic card you hold in your hand is the key to unlocking all the magic, all the wonder, all the pixie dust you can find at Walt Disney World Resort!

Your Annual Pass will grant you admission to all of the theme parks any time you need an extra boost of magic in your life this next year. There are also other great benefits to being an Annual Passholder, such as complimentary parking at the theme parks and unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital downloads. There are also amazing discounts on recreational activities, tours, dining, merchandise, and special event tickets. You can even score a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious discount on Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms!

As long as you have a MagicBand linked to the same My Disney Experience account that your Annual Pass is linked, then you will be able to use your MagicBand instead of the card to enter the theme parks and use your FastPass+ selections. However, you will definitely want to keep that Annual Passholder card with you while in the parks, as it and your photo I.D. are needed to utilize all the included benefits.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted adventures!
