I am booking just a WDW resort room for a trip this summer. At this time we are not sure when our children will start college, but are hoping we booked a date that will work. If we have to cancel is there a penalty? Thank you

Hi Lisa! I totally understand how hard it can be to plan when you are trying to work around your family schedules. Hopefully everything will work out and you can have a great vacation before the kids head off for college.

When you book a room only reservation you will need to put a one nights deposit down within fourteen days of booking. The final payment will be due at your check-in. You can cancel this room reservation up to six days prior to check-in and you will have a full refund of your deposit. If the cancellation comes after the six days prior you will be charged that one night deposit but will get anything else you might have put down on the room returned.  You can modify your reservation right up to the time of check-in without an additional charge which makes situations like yours a bit easier if you have to drop a day or want to add one on.

Hopefully it will all work out!
