Booking Polynesian DVC Villa. Pago Pago and Moorea look closer to TTC. Is this where we go for monorail to MK and Epcot instead of monorail in the Great Ceremonial bldg? Dont care about view as much as location to pools and transportation options.

    Aloha Anita!

Thanks for sailing by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is the loveliest of properties - it is your own tropical oasis in the middle of the Magic!

You are super smart to be planning your location so that you have access to all.the.things! Since you are staying in the Disney Vacation Club Villas, you will be in one of three buildings - Moorea, Pogo Pogo or Tokelau. You are correct that Moorea and Pogo Pogo are close to the Transportation and Ticket Center. My fellow panelist Mona Leigh stayed in one of the Deluxe Studios in Moorea and said she was merely steps away from the Transportation and Ticket Center, which is fantastic! We have walked from the Great Ceremonial House to the Center, and it was less than a 10-minute walk.

The Monorail in the Great Ceremonial House will take you to Magic Kingdom Park and the other Resort hotels surrounding Seven Seas Lagoon. The Transportation and Ticket Center is where you get the Monorail to Epcot as well as Magic Kingdom Park.

If you want to be closest to the pools, Tokelau is your building! Honestly, it is a quick walk across a courtyard to Moorea or Pago Pago, so if you feel like you will be in the pools more often, I would choose Tokelau. That way you are close to both places that you want to be!

Anita, if you have any additional questions, please feel free to ask.
