When booking fast pass how early should you get on the site that day? I also got a fast pass multi experience where I can walk on 3 rides a day. What should book vs walk up?

    Hey!

I'm back! So, let's talk about Fastpasses! I will let you in on a family secret - they are THE way we do the Parks. I have littles (and a husband!) who do not like to wait, so the FastPass+ system is a game-changer for us!

If you plan on arriving EARly to the Parks, I suggest booking your FastPasses for the afternoon, since you will usually have shorter wait times in the morning before everyone else shows up! If you are a Guest of a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can choose your passes 60 days before you arrive; if not, you can pick 30 days before. Which lines you want to skip is a matter of preference, but I will give you a few of my favorite FastPass+ attractions by Park!

    Animal Kingdom Theme Park:
    Avatar Flight of Passage*
    Kilimanjaro Safaris
    Na'vi River Journey*

    Disney's Hollywood Studios:
    Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run*
    Rock 'n Rollercoaster with Aerosmith
    Toy Story Mania!

    Epcot:
    Frozen Ever After*
    Soarin' Around the World*
    Test Track*

    Magic Kingdom Park:
    Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin
    Haunted Mansion
    Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

The attractions that are starred (*) are known as Tier 1 attractions in the Parks. This means that you can only choose one of these initially, and then the rest of your passes can come from Tier 2. Once you use your three pre-selections, I would suggest trying to get an additional Tier 1 selection for that day via the My Disney Experience app.

Kim, the EARlier you arrive, the more you will get to do! If you are a Resort Hotel Guest, you will have Extra Magic Hours that will allow you to experience a Park before or after the other Guests, which reduces standby line times. Also, for a VIP experience, consider Early Morning Magic, a special ticketed event where you have exclusive access to iconic rides, as well as a delicious breakfast before the rest of the Guests arrive!
