We booked a vacation for the end of June. We got an extra day with our package. Can we use it at a Disney water park?

    Hi Tim,

June is just around the corner, and that means it's time for Disney. Awesome!

First the bad news. Unfortunately, you cannot use or exchange a Theme Park ticket for a Water Park ticket. Also, if you booked a room-only reservation and separately purchased Theme Park Tickets, there's nothing you could do as Theme Park tickets are non-refundable. If you wish to visit the Water Parks, you may want to add the Water Park Fun & More option by visiting Guest Relations when you arrive.

Now, when you book a Magic Your Way Vacation Package, which includes a stay at select Disney Resort hotels and Theme Park tickets, you can select the number of days of tickets that you want. It doesn't have to be the same number of nights. In this case, you can make changes to your reservation up to 30 days before arrival without incurring any fees. Simply call a vacation planning specialist at (407) 939-1936 or your travel agent, and ask them to reduce the number of days for tickets.

Hopefully you'll be able to make the changes soon. And if you have any more questions, don't hesitate to come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Safe travels.

    Ricardo.
