Hi, We booked a trip to Walt Disney World this November 2013. We are staying at the beach club. We are now looking at the Wilderness Lodge and it looks like it is a better resort to stay for christmas. Is it better to stay there than the beach club?

    Hi Carolyn!

This is a tough one! They are both very nice resorts! Having stayed at both, I can tell you that it all boils down to a matter of preference! One is a very rustic setting while the other has a very tropical feel to it. Both of these resorts are decorated beautifully for the holidays. Personally, I would prefer to stay at Disney's Beach Club Resort because it is a 5 minute walk to my favorite theme park, Epcot and they feature a character dining at Cape May Cafe. The pool is also amazing as it has sand in it (a feature my kids loved!). I also love the fact that you can walk around Crescent Lake and enjoy the attractions, shopping and dining on the boardwalk. The standard rooms at the Wilderness Lodge (sleeps 4) are smaller than those at the Beach Club (sleeps 5).

No matter which you choose, you can't go wrong! After all, it is a Walt Disney World Resort and they are both pretty amazing!

It has been a pleasure assisting you!
